By using DogRoyalPortrait, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear and fair.
1. Who We Are
DogRoyalPortrait is operated by TBC — Company name, based in France.

2. The Service
DogRoyalPortrait allows you to upload a photo of your dog and receive an AI-generated royal portrait. The service includes:
- Free preview — 2 watermarked generations per day, per IP address, at no charge
- HD digital download — a full-resolution, watermark-free portrait file — €1.99
- Physical products — printed portraits shipped to your address, from €16.99 (A4), and framed prints from €39.99 (A4) — exact prices for each size and frame style are shown at checkout
3. Intellectual Property & Licence
By uploading a photo, you confirm that:
- You own the photo or have the right to use it
- The photo contains only your own dog (or a dog you have permission to use)
- The photo does not include any person whose likeness you do not have rights to
You grant DogRoyalPortrait a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your photo solely for the purpose of generating your portrait. We do not use your photos to train AI models or for any other purpose.
Ownership of generated portraits: Once purchased, the AI-generated portrait is yours for personal use. You may print it, frame it, share it, and keep it. You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial resale or reproduction of generated portraits is not permitted without our prior written agreement.
DogRoyalPortrait retains ownership of the generation style, prompts, and underlying technology used to create portraits.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are displayed in euros (€) as shown on the site at the time of purchase. VAT is not applicable — Article 293B of the French General Tax Code (French micro-enterprise VAT exemption threshold).
By completing a purchase, you agree that payment is due immediately and that the service is delivered upon payment confirmation.
5. Digital Products — Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers)
Important: Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, this right does not apply to digital content delivered immediately when you have expressly consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of this right before purchase.
When purchasing an HD digital portrait, you are shown a clear notice at checkout and asked to confirm your consent to immediate delivery. Because you can preview your portrait (with watermark) before any purchase, you know exactly what you are buying. Once the file is made available to you, the right of withdrawal no longer applies to that digital purchase.
6. Physical Products — Returns & Refunds
For physical products (prints, framed prints), EU and UK customers retain the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of delivery, in line with applicable consumer protection law.
Defective or damaged orders: If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery at TBC — contact@dogroyalportrait.com with a photo of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Our print fulfilment partner handles reprints for production defects; we coordinate this on your behalf.
Change-of-mind returns: If you wish to return a physical product within the 14-day withdrawal period, contact us first. Return shipping costs are at your expense. On low-value items, we may offer a refund without requiring you to return the product — we'll confirm this case by case.
Refunds are processed via Stripe and typically appear on your card within 5–10 business days.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
If your portrait is technically defective (e.g. corrupted file, generation error), contact us within 7 days and we will regenerate it at no charge. Portrait style and artistic interpretation are inherent to AI generation and do not constitute a defect — which is why we offer a free watermarked preview before any purchase.
8. Prohibited Use
- Uploading photos of people without their consent
- Generating content that is offensive, illegal, or harmful
- Circumventing usage limits via automated means, VPNs, or multiple accounts
- Commercially reselling generated portraits without our written consent
- Using the service in any way that violates applicable law
9. Limitation of Liability
DogRoyalPortrait is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the AI will produce a specific artistic result. Results vary depending on the quality and characteristics of your uploaded photo. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
